🖥️ Getting Started - First-Time Setup Checklist

Before you power on your PC for the first time:

📦 Remove all packaging (inside and outside the case — check for foam inside)

🔌 Plug in your keyboard, mouse, monitor, and power cable

🖱️ Connect your display cable (HDMI or DisplayPort) to the GPU (not motherboard)

⚙️ Power on and follow the Windows setup

🌐 Connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet

🧰 Check everything is working — you’re good to go!

🔍 Troubleshooting & Common Errors

⚠️ No Display / Black Screen

Most common cause: Monitor is plugged into the motherboard instead of the graphics card.

Fix: Move the display cable (HDMI/DP) to the GPU output.

⚡ PC Turns On but No Power to Keyboard/Mouse

Check USB is plugged into the rear ports of the motherboard (not top/front)

Try a different USB port

Check if the PSU switch (on the back) is fully on

📡 No Wi-Fi Option

Not all PCs come with Wi-Fi built in.

Use a USB Wi-Fi adapter or Ethernet cable, or check your order to confirm Wi-Fi inclusion.

🎮 Games Are Lagging / Poor Performance

Check game settings: turn down resolution and effects

Make sure GPU drivers are updated (see below)

Confirm the monitor is set to the correct refresh rate (e.g., 144Hz)

🔇 No Sound

Ensure the correct output is selected (right-click the volume icon > Sound Settings)

Double-check your speakers/headset is plugged in

Update your audio drivers (via Windows Update or manufacturer website)

🔁 How to Reinstall Windows

When to do this:

You’re having recurring software issues

You want to start fresh

Steps:

1. Download the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft

2. Insert a USB drive (at least 8GB)

3. Use the tool to create a bootable USB

4. Boot from USB (press F11 or DEL during startup)

5. Follow the installation process

6. Reinstall drivers and updates once Windows is installed

🧹 Clean your case every 2-3 months (light vacuum on intake vents or use compressed air)

❓ Do your PCs come with Windows installed?

Yes! Every PC of Kit machine arrives fully set up with Windows 10 or 11 and is activated.

❓ I don’t know how to choose the right PC. Can you help?

❓ Do you include Wi-Fi?

Most of our pre-built PCs include Wi-Fi, but please check the product page before ordering. If not, we offer affordable USB Wi-Fi dongles.

❓ What’s your warranty?

We provide a 1-year hardware warranty on all new and refurbished parts. If anything fails under normal use, we’ll repair or replace it — no stress.

❓ Can I upgrade the PC later?

Yes! All our systems are fully upgradeable — you can swap out RAM, GPU, storage, etc. Need help choosing upgrades? Just ask.
